Hi! I’m Annie, a literature and mythology profes Hi! I’m Annie, a literature and mythology professor and tarot writer and expert (if such a thing can exist). My unique brand of tarot combines intellect and intuition. I believe it’s at that intersection where the magic really happens, and my newsletter - The Tarot Professor - dwells at that crossroads.

Is The Tarot Professor for you? It is if:

💖 you’re interested in tarot and are a complete newbie, seasoned tarot reader, or somewhere in between.

💖 you’re an intellectual (and maybe even a bit of a skeptic) but you’re realizing your analytical skills can only take you so far and you want to (re)connect with your intuition to live a more intentional and aligned life.

💖 you love literature, mythology, and symbolism and want to dive into tarot more deeply with a professor as your guide.

💖 you’re a smart person with big feelings.

Go to you know where to binge the archives, try some spreads, and read some relatable stories about how tarot can help us live our best lives! 👉🏼🔗🪪@thetarotprofessor👈🏼
I (perhaps obviously) love Page energy as a profes I (perhaps obviously) love Page energy as a professor. But not just bc I love having curious and engaged seekers as students.

It’s also because I think the best teachers are lifelong seekers themselves. Learning and exploring is something I highly value, so I for one get really inspired and motivated when I see a Page in a tarot reading!

And while the Page of Swords is probably the Page that looks the most uncertain or even clumsy, all of the tarot Pages share that newbie curiosity and eagerness to explore. And keeping that in mind helps me interpret these tarot court cards more effectively!

Which Page is your favorite? Have any other tarot court card tips, questions, confusion, or advice for us? Leave them below! 👑

P.S. I wrote a more in-depth post on the Pages on Su8stack! Go to you know where to read it. 👉🏼🔗🪪@thetarotprofessor👈🏼
At the start of this month, at the first ever gath At the start of this month, at the first ever gathering of The Tarot Circle, eight beautiful souls and I met up to talk tarot and pull some cards together.

As The Tarot Circle host (our next meet-up is on Nov. 1st by the way, my fellow Angelenos!🔗🪪👉🏼@thetarotprofessor), I invited everybody to show up with a spirit of community, openness, and sharing. In tarot speak, that means I hoped to collectively channel the Three of Cups.

At our gathering, as we sat together on blankets and snacked on dried mango and Halloween-size candy bars, we all found the Three of Cups in our tarot decks.

And while the first keyword I think of when it comes to this tarot card is friendship, I invited everybody to look at the Three of Cups in their own deck to see if anything else came up for them based on the illustration they were looking at. Studying the variations of a tarot card in different decks is one of my favorite strategies for diving deeper into a specific tarot card and finding all the different messages in store for us at any given time.

What does the Three of Cups in your favorite tarot deck look like? And how does it differ or add to the Rider Waite Smith version?
If you read tarot for yourself like I do, do you w If you read tarot for yourself like I do, do you wish you had more people to talk about tarot with? Especially in person??? That’s why I created The Tarot Circle, a @creativemorning club for tarot lovers in Los Angeles!

Tarot is more fun together! So join me and a group of other LA tarot enthusiasts on Saturday 10/4 in Silverlake for our very first monthly gathering. It’s free, friendly, and fun!

Exact location will be given upon registration, which you can do by clicking on you know where 👉🏼🔗 in my 🪪 @thetarotprofessor !

If you have a tarot deck, bring it! If you don’t have one yet, that’s okay too! I’ll have a few extra so you can use one. You will be more than equipped to get your own deck after hanging out with us. 💖
